The proximity of the public, the machines and the pilots gives rise to a moment of exchange and sharing that ends in apotheosis as the wide-eyed eyes of the children and the exciting hearts of the adults take the city centre hostage when the procession begins. The success of this popular festival shows how much the public is attached to this event. Everyone, whether from near or far, has had great adventures, whether they are volunteers, participants or spectators. That’s clear! The “Quad” as the laymen say is part of the collective memory and part of the regional heritage.

Already having a name throughout Europe, the Circus Trial Show performs at the most important motor sport events such as the Grand Prix de France Moto, the Bol d’Or but also the Tourist Trophy as well as the 24H of Le Mans moto and many more. Well, then! What to think when Fred Crosset shares his enthusiasm when I quote: “For nothing in the world would I miss the Pont-de-Vaux meeting. » ? It is therefore with his team-mate Samuele Zuccali that the triathlete with ten national titles and two across the Atlantic intends to set the World Cup field on fire this summer. Backflips and choreographed flights over 10 metres high will be on hand around the Monster structure and as always, the audience will be thrilled!

Blackliner gathers the best freestylers motocross, quad and so it is around the freestyle bute of Pont de Vaux that they perform their show during the Mondial. Twice a day throughout the weekend, Julien Mannon, Paul Manesse, Jeremy Mariotto in FMX (motorcycle) and David Tharan in quad will be present for a breathtaking show.

Maurizio Pera Perin, official CF MOTO rider, and his SSV is the only one to make a backflip with this machine. Months of preparation and training were necessary for the Italian to get this trick in. Maurizio Perin’s technical team has made some modifications to the ZForce 800 EX, including the installation of a single seat in the centre of the cabin and the creation of numerous reinforcements on the original roll bar. But it is also the creation of a very special ramp that allows the CFMoto SSV to take off perfectly and then fall back on its 4 wheels.

The trekking continues its journey with two magnificent loops through the department of Ain and Saône et Loire. Philippe Quéau and the entire Rando Somme team are undoubtedly preparing us for some beautiful walks, an opportunity for participants to discover the region’s treasures in complete peace of mind. The quad and the ssv remain fabulous machines to discover its landscapes.

The PDV Rando has now reached its cruising speed with 160 participants registered in 2018. On Friday afternoon, PDV Rando is intended for VIPs, (manufacturers, their customers and dealers). Saturdays and Sundays are open to all, regardless of age, the driving licence remains mandatory. Every year new hiking trails are laid out, offering the opportunity to discover typical landscapes and all the architectural and gastronomic treasures of the region. Adventure, friendliness, culture and gastronomy are the pillars of PDV Rando 2019.
