Quad and SSV rides at the Mondial du Quad 2022 !

Following the announcement of the 2022 edition of the Mondial du Quad/72 hours de Pont-de-Vaux, Ain , France, on August 25, 26, 27 and 28, the various peripheral activities are gradually confirming their presence for the 35th vintage. Rando Somme, the event’s usual partner, will once again organize its traditional quad and SSV rides and hikes.

It is true that the region around Pont-de-Vaux, whether on the Ain side or on the Saône & Loire side, is full of magnificent landscapes with the Bressan bocages and the vineyards between Mâcon and Tournus. A discovery closer to nature and a rural area rich in culture, architecture, and gastronomy.

Supervised by Philippe Quéau and the Rando Somme team, the PDV hikers have the choice between several programs of walks which will be carried out in small groups. On Friday the VIPs will embark on 50 km of paths and trails through Bresse.

On Saturday, the 120 km route will satisfy enthusiasts who, after a lunch break at the Auberge de La Rochette in Bourgvilain, in Lamartine country, will stop for a tasting at the Lugny cellar*.

Finally, the adventurers will start on Sunday for a loop of more than 130 kms. The journey will allow to admire the Roche de Solutré in the background and then discover, for a lunch stop, St Gengoux le National and its medieval heritage, in the heart of the vineyards of the Côte Chalonnaise.

These outings fit perfectly into the program for spectators of the Mondial du Quad and offer them another vision of the practice of quad or SSV, by associating the discovery of local terroirs and their gastronomy, and by revealing the treasures of its heritage, all this in a friendly and privileged atmosphere.
