The meadow of Pont-de-Vaux in Ain, in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, will find a Mondial du Quad / 12 H in its usual format in August 2022. An anniversary edition that will also be full of surprises for spectators.

After many hesitations due to prefectural instructions linked to changes in the health context, the 2021 edition was held well in August 2021. Despite the absence of a certain number of nations (including the USA and GB ) the competitions went perfectly. The public responded with an increased presence of the youngest and had a great time attending the various events, even with overall attendance down.

With a 35th complete edition, this 2022 World Cup will fill up with pilots and welcome the usual nations (last record in 2019 with 21 nations present). On the races side, the Mondial / 12 H maintains its format in 3 times 4 hours with its sequence at night always eagerly awaited. The Contest will take place as in 2019 in 2 times 2 hours Friday and Saturday. This event is the one that brings together the most competitors in a duo or solo team. As always, the future is represented with the Kid Quad, springboard to the Mondial. The kids will therefore participate in the party with always crossing the bridge and daily 20-minute rounds.

The SSVs continue their break and will not be in this 35th edition. The organizers are working on a new design of the SSV course to relaunch this category. Return confirmed for the motorcycle, over two days. The AINduro will take on the appearance of Cross-Country with on the menu: Saturday, an online special, a 30- minute sprint race on the large circuit as a prelude to a 3-hour endurance race which will take place on Sunday morning. Something to delight pilots and fans of the discipline.

Entertainment/ Quad Expo: Freestyle will be back throughout the weekend and to celebrate this 35th edition, a visit to the paddocks on Friday evening will allow the public to get as close as possible to the crews and their machines.

The parade in town on Thursday evening is re-established to the delight of spectators and traders in Pont- de-Vaux. A real moment of communion between the drivers and the public present throughout the course, this is where the spirit of the Mondial takes place, in proximity, good humor and conviviality.
