A new identity for new ambitions
New name, new logo, new colors, for its 35th meeting in the meadow of Pont-de-Vaux, the Mondial du Quad/12h de Pont-de-Vaux becomes the 72h Pont-de-Vaux. The high mass of mechanical leisure is part of the future with ambitious projects and sustained and controlled development.
The need for a new starter
After the dotted operation imposed by the pandemic, the organizers took certain observations into account: the name Mondial du Quad 12 Heures de Pont-de-Vaux became reductive and blocked the development of the current events (Kenny Quad Contest and Kids Quad) leaving them in the shadow of the World Cup. In addition, the return of the bike with the new AINduro event, has come since 2018, to complete the sports program of the weekend.
The concept of the 72 Hours makes it possible to capitalize on a strong identity and to develop, according to expectations, additional sports activities such as the return of SSVs or the arrival of E-MTBs. Without drawing a line under the past, based on the experience of the existing, this new identity brings together all the events contested over 3 days in Pont-de-Vaux.
Mechanical sport combined with leisure activities
Many leisure activities take place around the 72 Hours. The hike (with long-time partner RandoSomme) with several programs taking place on Saturday and Sunday is a discovery of the Bressan and Mâconnais terroir by quad and SSV. Within the Village, the mechanical manufacturers’ exhibition, the test track, the children’s and adult initiation tracks, the Free Style and Circus Trial Tour demonstrations and shows, confirm the status of a great celebration of mechanical leisure for 72 Hours. Without forgetting the parade on Thursday evening in the main street of Pont-de-Vaux which is the real kick-off of these 72 Hours
New name, new logos
This new visual identity is a necessary evolution of the image of this 35th meeting, to better correspond to the current dynamics of the event. The four current events therefore see their logos also reworked
A new refined and effective general logo, which also testifies the commitment of the city of Pont-de-Vaux alongside the AMPV. And, behind the city, it is also the community of municipalities Bresse & Saône, the department of Ain and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region which provide their support to the 72H.
This new visual identity will apply to all the event’s communication tools, primarily its website. It brings together all the thematic information necessary for all stakeholders: drivers and their crews, partners, and institutions, and of course the public of the various events as well as visitors to the entertainment and exhibition village.
This new visual identity is signed by Hervé and Laurent Chapuis, Studio VELO, from Le Creusot.
By becoming the “72H Pont-de-Vaux”, the event wants to support its development and express its desire to federate a larger community and, each year, more partners, public and visitors.
