12 HOURS FROM PONT-DE-VAUX / MAXXIS®MONDIAL DU QUAD

The drivers of the Maxxis®Mondial Quad / 12 hours of Pont-de-Vaux started the race on Friday
evening at 8pm for the first round “Region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes”. At the end of this round, the
Drag’on # 2 team with drivers Antoine CHEURLIN (F), Manfred ZIENECKCER (G) and Paul Holmes (GB)
took the lead, followed by 14, 487 sec. Team # 1 By Rapport by Jérémie WARNIA (F), Randy NAVEAUX
(B) and Andrea CESARI (I) and 3rd position of Team 4 Liberty / USA with Neal BRYCEN, Jarod Mc LURE
and Cole RICHARDSON. After the 2nd round “Conseil Départemental de l’Ain”, the first 3 remain the
same in an upset order: in the lead, the team 4 Liberty # 141, in 2nd position the team By Rapport # 1
and in 3rd position the team Drag ‘on # 2. Everything remained to be played – and for all teams, with
the famous night race on Saturday night from 8pm to midnight. This 3rd Channel “Community of
Commune Bresse and Saone” was going to see some changes, especially for the team 4 Liberty # 141
who downgraded to 24th place with their Honda TRX by letting go 6 laps behind the 1st of this
round: the CRQF # 3 team (best time in practice) with Mike Van GRINSVEN (NL), Joe MAESSEN (NL)
and Kevin SAAR (Estonia). In 2nd and 3rd place of this 3rd round, we found respectively, the team
Drag’on # 2 and the team By Rapport # 1, which, as regulars of the race, disputed their Franco-French
duel.
This Sunday, August 25, at 15h was given the start of the 4th and last round of the 12 Hours called
“City of Pont-de-Vaux”. Although having won the fourth round, the team 4 Liberty / USA with Neal
BRYCEN, Jarod Mc LURE and Cole RICHARDSON, did not manage to get on the podium. The Drag’on #
2 team (Antoine CHEURLIN (F), Manfred ZIENECKCER (G) and Paul HOLMES (GB)) finished at the top
of the overall ranking of the 4 heats in front of team By Rapport # 1 (Jérémie WARNIA (F), Randy
NAVEAUX (B) and Andrea CESARI (I)) who gives up his title. In third place, the QBRUS Rocketman 1
team finishes this podium of the 2019 edition, with its 3 drivers Mark Mc LERNON, Carl BUNCE and
George CALLAWAY, on Yamaha YFZR.
